Why I built it
Compliance was costing smaller companies too much.
I built Wedo AI because compliance is incredibly expensive, especially for founders and smaller companies.
As someone who builds a lot of applications, I kept thinking there had to be a more practical way to help founders understand what they needed and prepare properly without bleeding out money on consultants.

The problem I kept seeing
Complexity arrived before the compliance team did.
Smaller companies were being asked to understand frameworks, organize evidence and prepare for scrutiny long before they had the resources of a dedicated compliance department.
The preparation was fragmented and difficult to navigate. Founders needed a clearer way to understand the work, gather what mattered and arrive better prepared for an independent audit.

Founded in 2024, Wedo AI became a compliance operating system supporting the implemented work of organizing preparation, evidence and readiness in one place.
It is active and actively being improved. It does not replace auditors; its current priority is finding auditor partners who can help make the path to compliance clearer for smaller organizations.

Why it still matters
Trust should not be reserved for companies with large budgets.
Compliance requirements can affect a company before it has the people or money to manage them comfortably.
Making preparation more understandable can reduce avoidable cost and confusion while preserving the essential role of qualified, independent auditors, who remain responsible for independent assessment.
