ABOUT

I’ve never been especially good at staying in one lane.

I’m Indiana Gregg — songwriter, founder, writer, builder, and lifelong maker of things.

Songs. Companies. Stories. Platforms. Communities. Occasionally an idea that becomes much bigger than I expected.

I started with music, wandered rather enthusiastically into technology, built a few things along the way, and somehow ended up back where I began — writing songs again.

I prefer the scenic route.

01 / THE ROAD SO FAR

The long way here

I started writing songs long before I started building companies.

Music took me into studios, onto stages, across countries, and into an industry that was beginning to change almost as quickly as the technology around it.

That change fascinated me.

I became interested in the systems behind creative work — who gets heard, who gets paid, how people connect, how technology changes communities, and what happens when the tools we build begin shaping the people using them.

So I started building those systems too.

Over the years, I’ve worked across music, technology, publishing, community, identity, AI, storytelling, compliance, and the future of work.

I’ve founded companies, written books, made records, raised children, moved countries, changed direction more than once, and learned that careers rarely make as much sense while you’re living them as they do when somebody eventually writes the biography.

Still, most of the work keeps returning to the same question:

How do we make things that help people feel more human, not less?

02 / A LIFE IN CHAPTERS

A life in chapters

Some people build careers in straight lines.

Mine has looked more like a road trip with questionable directions.

CHAPTER 1

MUSIC FIRST

Before the companies, platforms and product roadmaps, there were songs.

Songwriting was the first place I learned how to make sense of people — what they say, what they mean, what they hide, what they hope for, and the strange little contradictions that make us human.

Music became my first professional world and, in many ways, the lens through which I still see everything else.

CHAPTER 2

WHEN THE INTERNET GOT INTERESTING

As music moved online, I became fascinated by the changing relationship between artists, audiences and technology.

That curiosity eventually pulled me into entrepreneurship and the early creator economy.

I wanted to understand what the internet could make possible for independent people — and what could go wrong when platforms forgot who they were meant to serve.

This chapter led to work around digital music, artist platforms and early online communities.

CHAPTER 3

BUILDING COMPANIES

One company became another question.

One question became another company.

I started building products around collaboration, work, communication, identity and the systems people rely on every day.

Some became businesses. Some became experiments. Some became lessons wearing expensive shoes.

But all of them taught me something about people, technology and the difference between creating a feature and creating something that genuinely belongs in someone’s life.

CHAPTER 4

BUILDING WORLDS

Over time, my work expanded beyond individual products into larger connected systems.

Work. Money. Families. Stories. Trust. Compliance. Creative identity. AI.

The names and technologies change, but I’m still mostly interested in the same thing:

building systems around the way people actually live, rather than asking people to reshape themselves around the system.

CHAPTER 5

BACK TO THE SONGS

Eventually, after all the building, I found myself writing songs again.

Not because the other work disappeared.

Because music had apparently been waiting patiently in the corner the entire time.

Coming back to it now feels different.

There’s more life in the room. More people. More mistakes. More things worth writing down.

And much less interest in pretending I have everything figured out.

03 / THE WORK

Things I make

I tend to make things when I can’t find the thing I wish existed.

01

Music

Songs about people, memory, work, love, family, belonging and the strange business of being alive.

02

Companies

Technology and systems built around the idea that people should remain at the center of the technology they use.

03

Stories

Books, essays, journals, ideas and the occasional sentence that refuses to leave me alone.

04 / SELECTED PROJECTS

A few things I’ve built

Not everything I build belongs in the same category.

That has never stopped me.

01

Hubbii

An operating system for work, money and organizations — built around the idea that businesses are made of people before they are made of workflows.

02

Family Porch

A private digital home for families — designed around connection, memory and keeping the people who matter close.

03

Wedo AI

AI governance, compliance and trust infrastructure designed to make complicated obligations more understandable and usable.

04

Draftii

Tools for writing, storytelling and preserving the shape of an idea while technology helps bring it to life.

05 / OFF THE CLOCK

The actual person

Away from the project names and professional bios, I’m a mother of three, a songwriter who still hears ordinary sentences and wonders whether they belong in a chorus, and a person who has somehow collected enough animals to qualify as a small ecosystem.

I like ideas.

I like people who care deeply about something.

I like making things from nothing.

I like long conversations, strange observations, ridiculous humour, beautiful rooms, old records, new technology and occasionally proving that two things everyone insists do not belong together absolutely do.

Most days, there is music somewhere nearby, a product problem open on a screen, several unfinished thoughts in a notebook, and at least one animal demanding executive-level attention.

That feels about right.

06 / NOTES TO SELF

A few things I’ve come to believe

  1. 01

People are more complicated than the systems we put them into.

  2. 02

Technology should give people more agency, not quietly take it away.

  3. 03

    Creativity is not a luxury.
It is one of the ways we make sense of everything else.

  4. 04

You are allowed to become somebody different more than once.

  5. 05

The things that matter most are usually human long before they are technological.

07 / FULL CIRCLE

And now, music again.

For all the companies, projects, products and detours, songwriting never really went anywhere.

It waited.

These days, I’m making music again — with more life behind me, more stories to tell, and considerably less interest in sanding all the interesting edges off.

Some songs arrive as memories.

Some arrive as arguments.

Some arrive as people I once knew.

And occasionally one walks into the room fully dressed and tells me exactly what it wants to be.

I’ve learned not to argue.

Still making things.
Still asking questions.
Still taking the scenic route.
